I’m excited to announce that I’ll be attending Spannabis 2025, one of the world’s largest cannabis events, and I’d love to meet you there! From March 14 to 16, 2025, I’ll be bringing my passion for Afghan cannabis culture to Fira de Cornellà in Barcelona, showcasing my photo book “Afghanistan, Fortress of Cannabis,” along with postcards, posters, prints, and t-shirts that celebrate the rich heritage of Afghan hash and its traditions. While I won’t have a booth at the expo, I’ll be around the event and some of Barcelona’s top cannabis clubs, so you can catch me in person. This is a unique opportunity to connect, explore my work, and take home a piece of Afghan cannabis history—all at prices lower than on my website!

Where to Find Me at Spannabis 2025

I’ll be spending most of my time around the booth of Mila, the Hash Queen. For those who don’t know, Mila is a true pioneer in the world of hash. In the 1960s, she traveled through Afghanistan to India, where she spent years immersed in cannabis culture. After returning to Europe, she invented the Pollinator machine, inspired by the dry-sieving methods she witnessed in Afghanistan. Today, she runs the Pollinator Company and organizes the famous Dabadoo hash parties. It’s an honor to be associated with such a legend, and I’ll be proud to showcase my work near her booth.

I’ll also be accompanied by @baaba879, an Afghan native and Instagrammer who now lives in Europe following the Taliban takeover. His Instagram account is one of the few online sources of information about Afghan cannabis culture, and his insights are invaluable. Together, we’ll be sharing stories, photos, and experiences from Afghanistan.

In addition to the Spannabis Expo, I’ll be visiting some of Barcelona’s best cannabis clubs, including La Creme Garcia and Dank Grass Club, where events and gatherings will be taking place. If you’d like to meet me at the expo or in one of the clubs, feel free to reach out—I’d love to connect!
